Christopher Smith and Merete Mueller have just added to the micro-living movement that has been developing across the world, from the Nido house by Robin Falcke in Finald to the slightly larger Delta Shelter by Olson Kundig Architects in the USA.
This couple had a different take on it however, converting a timber trailer into a mobile house!
Beginning with the trailer the foundations were set…
They then began building up the walls and maximizing the internal space, creating space for a small kitchen, bathroom, lounger and lofted sleeping quarters.
They began making the micro-house look more like a home adding timber finishes and creating bookshelves etc…
The final view of the interior shows just how you can fit everything you need in a home into such a confined space!
The view from the bed makes it look rather large!
And the best thing about it all, they can drive it wherever they want! Choosing to park it in the picturesque Boulder, Colorado for now they have no worries of making payments or getting stuck in the daily grind, they can up and leave as they please, spending their money on whatever they wish!
